Ah, COVID. The pandemic interrupted more than a few people’s plans in 2020, Simon and Amanda were no exception--they had to rearrange their wedding day multiple times as regulations changed, but in the end, everything worked out. They had an amazing outdoor ceremony that accommodated their closest friends and family, and every detail was pitch-perfect. Amanda’s artistic taste and ability shone forth during the planning process, which involved a stunning backdrop covered with plumes, macramé hangers and a old-fashioned donut cake. Their colour palette blended seamlessly with the summery tones of the venue, and (best of all) I got the most beautiful sunset photos of them on Bride Road. The course of true love may not always run smooth, but at the end of the day, Simon and Amanda arrived safely at their final destination, and I was so, so happy to participate in it with them.
