Gardens are my happy place, so when Laura and Devon asked me to do their engagement shoot in Devon’s mother’s garden, it was hhhhaaarrrrdd to keep my focus! The incredible array of perennials and sunflowers were just (chef’s kiss), and it was the perfect backdrop for our lovebirds. They’re in a busy stage of life–finishing up post-secondary education, planning a wedding–and I was so happy to be able to help them stop and memorialize this magic moment in their lives. We got some beautiful shots in the laneway, where Grandma may or may not have caught a glimpse of them stealing a kiss. Hopefully her eyesight’s not too good amirite?!?! :D
