One of the (very few!) downsides of being a photographer is that you’re seldom in the photos with your own family–everyone else gets their best angles in the best light, but you’ve gotta make do with a tripod and a timer. Working moms seldom have time for that kind of extra, so when my friend Michelle called in a favour, I was happy to oblige. We drove out to my SeCrEt LoCaTiOn (all right it’s Christie’s Lake, OK!?!) and had a wonderful afternoon soaking in the summer sun and splashing in the water. (Not as much fun as her boys, who jumped at the opportunity to soak their dad–hey, it’s for art, right?) :D :D
