When Sonya and David welcomed another sweet baby to their growing family, I was so excited for them—their little ones are full of energy and so much fun, and (as with all my sessions) I couldn’t wait for this shoot. As the happy mother of seven, Sonya knows very well how quickly time flies with growing children, and wanted to take this opportunity to mark not just the arrival of their little guy, but the development and growth of their whole family.
Our community is home to lots of larger families, so whenever multiple children are involved (which is pretty often!) I arrive with a flexible plan and little extra patience. We decided to head for park in the beautiful village of St. George, where the children were guaranteed plenty of space and Sonya was guaranteed plenty of great shots. It was perfect—we got the most adorable scenes of the children racing under a blanket tossed in the air, cuddling their new sibling, and hamming it up for me and my camera. (Mom and Dad even managed to sneak away for a cozy moment themselves!) :) It was a great day—a little bit of chaos mixed with a whole lot of love.
