Pro tip for family photos: always introduce a little element of surprise that’s unique to your particular family.
If you’re a literary group, bring along some of your favourite books. If you love camping, maybe we can set up a tent or take a little hike. For Sherrie, it was her little girl’s birthday, and she had the brilliant idea of featuring this beautiful indigo cake paired with a vintage high chair her mother had kicking around. It was perfect--we got some adorable shots of baby girl digging into the frosting, and it was just the carrot her big brothers needed to ham it up for the camera. The children had a great time, Mom got some updated family photos, and everyone looked gorgeous.
If that isn’t double winning, I don’t know what is! ;)
