Extended families! A much requested session, and a rarely blogged one! But I thought I would take you on a little journey of what an extended family session looks like. The definition of an extended family is when it includes more than one family unit. Typically it's for Grandma and Grandpa, or in this case, Opa and Oma! I make sure to bring along some stools and chairs to allow for some varied heights, and we allot a bit chunk of time, typically an hour and a quarter, but for a family this size we take a little extra time. Each family unit gets a photo, including one of the siblings, parents and each individual child. I love to capture the moments in between as well, and those end up being my personal favourites. When the gallery comes together, it's an amazing feeling knowing that Oma can create an album, or a gallery wall featuring her favourite people. These sessions are an investment, but a worthy one!
